Abstract

Physiological calcifications are dentin deposition processes that reduce the volume of the pulp chamber. The use of resources such as clinical microscope and ultrasound allows increased visualization of the operative field with greater predictability in cases of teeth with pulp calcifications and narrow canals. This article reports an endodontic treatment of a molar tooth with pulp calculus and root obliteration, where the use of the microscope and ultrasonic tips were important for the successful resolution of the clinical case.
